Do you clean and dress the game animals?

We will clean and dress your group’s fish and will also gut other animals. Extra dressing, skinning and cleaning will be added on as a small additional fee.

How far does Wonderlich Outdoors travel to do guided ice fishing trips?
We will cover most of the state of Iowa and possibly beyond, safe weather permitting. We cover all of the states best fisheries including Spirit, Okoboji, Clear and Red Rock Lakes.

How many can you fit in lodging or is staying at a hotel an option?
We can house up to 5 people in our lodge. Alternatively, there are several hotels within a half hour’s drive that we can help coordinate for your group.

How many Iowa bow hunts does Wonderlich Outdoors offer per year? 
At Wonderlich Outdoors, we offer a number of different style bow hunts due to the population of trophy bucks in southeastern Iowa. We manage the herd to the best of our ability, and in doing so are typically able to offer 3 per year.

How much does a guided deer hunt cost in Southeast Iowa?

What does fair chase mean?
​​Fair chase is the ethical, sportsmanlike, and lawful pursuit and taking of any free-ranging wild, big game animal in a manner that does not give the hunter an improper or unfair advantage over the game animals.

How much does a deer tag cost in Iowa?
To hunt in Iowa, nonresidents need to purchase a hunting license ($131.00) and a nonresident habitat fee ($15.00). To hunt deer you will also need your tags, sold as an any-sex tag and antlerless tag combination ($498.00). The total for a deer hunting application will be $644.00 plus applicable fees.

How much does a Iowa fishing guide cost on Red Rock Lake?
Our half day (4 hr) package starts at $200 for 1-2 people and an additional $50 per person up to 4 people and our full day (7hr) package starts at $300 for 1-2 people and an additional $50 per person up to 4 people. What kind of fish are in Storm Lake Iowa? 
We mainly go after Largemouth Bass and White Bass but Bigmouth Buffalo, Black Crappie, Channel Catfish, Common Carp, Walleye, White Bass, and Yellow Perch are all popular fish species in Storm Lake. 

What kind of fish are in Red Rock Lake Iowa?
Fishing for largemouth bass, channel catfish, flathead catfish, black crappie, white crappie, walleye, white bass, hybrid striped bass and northern pike at Lake Red Rock in Iowa.
